Compensation is paid by:

## Cash

Paid at an hourly rate of $10 - $25 depending on the nature of the study.

## Gift Cards

Issued for online studies by the researcher conducting the study.  
Most GIFT CARDS are redeemed through your phone.

## Compensation

If the study pays over $100, a "vendor account" must be set up to receive payment by check sent via U.S. mail.

## Foreign Nationals

If the study pays over $100 the employee or sponsored affilliate must complete additional paperword for eligibility and tax purposes  
Foreign National receive payment by check sent via U.S. mail

Participating in studies for compensation **does not make you an employee of the Harvard Psychology Department or Harvard University.**
